News from the SCAS Community

Kateryna Bondar and her colleagues have received a grant from the Swedish Institute's
SI Ukraine Cooperation Programme 2024.
The cooperation project is titled "EPERE -
Enhancing the Participation of and Ensuring the Right to Education for Children
with
Intellectual Disability: Developing Capacities and Opportunities" and involves researchers
from five universities in three countries;
Sweden, Ukraine and Poland. The duration of
the project is two years and the grant amounts to SEK 2 000 000.
Kateryna Bondar is a SCAS-VUIAS Fellow in the academic year 2024-25.

Valentyna Savchyn has received a grant from the Hain Foundation
(Inga och John
Hain Stiftelse för Vetenskaplig Humanistisk Forskning) for her research on
translation
from the Ukrainian language. The grant totals SEK 400 000..
Valentyna Savchyn was a Fellow in residence at the Collegium in the academic
years 2021-22 and 2022-23.
